I can’t say I love swimming as a workout. In fact, I would call myself a “workout snob.” However, beggars can’t be choosers. I haven’t been able to workout (running, spinning, power yoga) during this pregnancy so took up swimming a few months ago. It’s a far cry from being pregnant with Kai where I taught spin classes the whole pregnancy but it brings me a lot of joy!

To be honest, I was so nauseous in the beginning that I didn’t want to do much of anything. After finding out about our very special MoMo babies, I was scared to do anything. My Doctors didn’t want me doing anything physical. A few other MoMo moms with successful outcomes said that any extra movement could cause more movement in babies thus resulting in more cord entanglement. So, deciding to swim has been a long time coming for me.

Off to get my flippers wet! Overall, I love my 30 minutes of lap swimming and think the girls like it too.
