The good news is that I made the cut. I get to stay based in Portland and won’t be displaced to LA or Seattle for now. The bad news is that I’m four from the bottom where I used to be number twenty seven. As we anxiously looked up the master rebid results for flight attendants my husband said, you’ve gone backwards. After 4 1/2 years with my current airline, I’m on call and will probably be for years to come. I used to be able to get weekends off but imagine it’ll be back to Tue, Wed, Thurs off. At least I won’t have to commute to Seattle or LA. Being a baby mama AND a flight attendant is very interesting. Never a dull moment!
