The first time I heard the term “babymoon” we were in Kauai on our honeymoon. We ran into some of my husband’s friends from Portland who were enjoying their babymoon. I thought it was the coolest idea to celebrate your pregnancy with a special trip with your partner before the baby comes. At the time, I wasn’t sure how I felt about flying and traveling 6, 7 or 8 months pregnant. I had heard from other flight attendants that flying while pregnant can be risky. Turns out I’m fine with flying and traveling 6 months pregnant. As I write my first post in Kauai on our official babymoon.
