I hate to complain but the truth is, not working out while pregnant is pretty bad.

I’ve been prescribed the no working out, no yoga, and lots of rest pregnancy diet. It’s been a tough 2 weeks for me. Anyone who knows me knows that I love working out and always find a way to squeeze it in. I know it’s temporary but morning sickness (all day for me!) and no working out has been challenging. I know it’s worth it and I know I’ll get to workout again. When I was working as a flight attendant and co workers didn’t understand “why” or “how” I could workout all the time I told them this. “Working out for me is a bit like taking a shower or having a coffee. Surely, there’s something you like to do everyday and would miss a lot if you stopped doing it.” Well, that’s what working out for me is.

And yes sometimes, I get to the end of the night and wonder-Did I take a shower today? It’s hard to remember when I don’t workout because I like to earn my showers with a good workout.

I’m just saying…
